Ankle
strengthening
Twelve lessons to build ankles that can take the landing. Designed on the mat, grounded in movement science — in sessions that fit into any training day.
Who it's for
The ankle doesn't care what sport you play
Gymnasts
Who land dozens of times per practice and want to keep doing it for many years.
Coaches
Who want real prevention in their warm-ups without stealing time from technique.
Impact-sport athletes
Volleyball, basketball, running, dance: any discipline that leaves the ground.
Anyone who's rolled one
And doesn't want a repeat. A sprain that comes back isn't bad luck: it's incomplete preparation.
Syllabus
The six modules
In deliberate order: each module builds on the previous one, and every phase has a measurable criterion for moving forward.
Assessment
Where you are today: range of motion, strength and balance. The starting point is measured, not assumed.
Mobility
Recover the full range before loading it. A stiff ankle distributes every impact badly.
Strength
Build the base that supports the landing — through the full range and in every direction.
Proprioception
Teach the ankle to react on its own: the reflex that corrects your footing before the fall happens.
Sport loading
Plyometrics and controlled landings: the bridge between exercise and the real sport.
Maintenance
The short routine that prevents relapse and fits into any warm-up.

Quick questions
Before you ask
Do I need special equipment?
No. A resistance band and a chair cover all twelve lessons.
Is it useful if I'm not a gymnast?
Yes. The ankle doesn't care what sport you play: runners, volleyball players and dancers load it the same way. The progressions start from zero.
Can I do it with an active injury?
No. This method is about prevention, not treatment. If you have pain, swelling or an ongoing injury, see a physician or licensed physical therapist first.
