It was born on the vault, the bars, the beam and the floor. From repeated landings loaded with fear, pain, and the constant feeling that the body is the first thing you sacrifice in order to keep going.

As a gymnast I learned very early that "toughing it out" is often mistaken for strength, and that resting an injury usually means falling behind — your level, and even your own team.

The unspoken message was always clear: keep going, even if it hurts. Adapt. Don't stop. Dany left gymnastics with some resentment and with a body that carried the consequences of every landing.

Years later, already a physical therapy student, she understood something even clearer: the problem is not gymnastics — it's the lack of specific preparation to withstand it. The missing foundations. The missing intention in how the body is trained to land, absorb impact, react and try again.

MetamorPhysis is born exactly at that meeting point: between lived experience and science. Between the body that feels and the body that is analyzed. Because an ankle never fails on its own. Because an injury never comes out of nowhere. And because real prevention doesn't happen when you stop training — it happens when you train with intention and awareness.
